Composer
Rex Willis
has written music in many styles and for many different instruments. With many past world premieres, 2008-9 included
new works premiered by Trio Voilà, the cutting-edge string quartet M.O.B. and world famous guitar
virtuoso Ana Vidovic. More premieres are in the making for 2011, including a newly commissioned
"Guitar Concerto" for 2012. Willis has written film scores for award winning independent movie makers
Doug Osman and the Guzzo brothers of One Day Films, Tampa.

Guitarist
When Rex Willis
started guitar, while receiving classical training, he was simultaneously playing in folk/rock/jazz bands, thereby integrating
many stlyes. This evolved into a unique blend that is all his own. You can hear Willis at events playing classical, bossa
nova, folk, flamenco, etc., as well as original compositions, many of them published.
Willis plays formal concerts
as well as weddings on the beautiful beaches of Sarasota, Siesta Key, Bradenton, St. Pete, and Boca Grande.
